LOS ALAMITOS — On behalf of Los Alamitos residents, workers, and a community organization, a lawsuit will be filed in Orange County Superior Court Wednesday (Apr. 18) against the city’s adoption of an ordinance "exempting" itself from the California Values Act. Plaintiffs are represented by the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU Foundation of Southern California, National Day Laborer Organizing Network, and the law firm of Latham & Watkins. After the press conference, plaintiffs will deliver a copy of the complaint to the Los Alamitos city clerk.
