Join the ACLU of California's Virtual Lobby Day to learn how to effectively lobby for civil liberties in these crucial and extraordinary times.

During the kick off event on Monday, August 10 from 5–7 p.m., you will:

• Become an expert on the key bills that ACLU CA is supporting this legislative session
• How to lobby virtually, and
• Meet with team members

On Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, you will be invited to half hour meetings to meet with your legislator's office to lobby on the bills.

You’re a crucial part of the people-powered effort to pass Schools and Communities First (Prop 15) so we can reclaim $12 billion every year for our schools and critical local services by closing corporate property tax loopholes, all while protecting residential property owners and implementing new small business tax relief.

Each Power Lunch will provide a space for activists to participate in conversations and hands-on trainings to practice core strategies and tactics to engage your community and voters.
