Carolina Briones is the Associate Director of Foundation Relations for the ACLU of Southern California. She joined the organization in 2017 and leads the foundation grants fundraising.
Previously, Carolina was a program officer in civic engagement at the California Community Foundation, where she oversaw a grants portfolio supporting grassroots leadership development and policy advocacy throughout LA County. She also coordinated the foundation’s multi-sector Council on Immigrant Integration. Before that, she was a campaign and research director at LAANE (LA Alliance for a New Economy), where she led public policy campaigns and authored numerous policy and research reports.
